When will I be able to submit a post with a link in it?

I just tried to start off my posts here, but was blocked because I included a link in the text. I wonder if this is why there are comparatively few posts on the forum? And is this a permanent restriction?

Hi Peadingle,

this is a spam protection by the forum software. After a couple of postings you will be able to post links in your postings. Because of obvious reasons I can not write here the exact number
