Founder MFT Community
Dear members,

we wrote a quick and dirty help for you, if you have a problem with/question about how to use this forum software, or if something seems to be broken.

Please read first all these FAQ before contacting a moderator. 99,9% of all problems can be resolved with these FAQ immediately!

- If you have technical problems to access the forum, please read first the announcement in the forum. Also the older ones. :

- The MFT-Newsletter: How to subscribe/ unsubscribe

The unsubscribe link is always at the bottom of each newsletter. Be aware that the newsletter has nothing to do with the notifications of forum postings.

- Enable/disable Forum notifications about new postings in a forum

- How to delete my account:

You can delete all information yourself. Simply go into your userprofile and delete all your private data. Because of legal requirements, we do not delete the username or the postings of users if they are not in conflict with our terms of use or the applicable law.

Please do not forget to save your settings after the deletion and to uncheck the newsletter and all threads and forums notifications you have subscribed to in the past.

- How to contact a moderator?

Use PM/Conversation or look at the member/staff list at the top of the forum. If you want to report a bad posting/spam, please use the "report" button below each posting.

- How to upload images

- What is allowed in the signature?

No links please. We have a specific field in your userprofile for your own website. Signatures shall not distracz from reading the actual postings. So please no colors, huge text size, animated gifs etc. You get the point...

- How to support us/ donate?

Click on "Donate" in the navigation tabs at the top of the forum.

- Reminder for obvious rules about behaviour on the internet/netiquette

Beside our terms of use there should be nothing more to add. But sadly in reality, sometimes people get very emotional and forget their good education. We do not want to repeat ourselves again and again, so we do write this here and in case it happens again, the moderators can link to it then ;)

It is not allowed to put other members to the pillory or to make them ridiculous or to start threads or postings with the intention to try and create unrest.

Moderators and decisions of moderators and/or administrators will not be discussed in public and do not need any justification. Objections regarding the decisions of moderators/administrators must not be posted in the forum. These postings will be deleted without comment. Send instead a PM to the involved moderator/administrator.

Members who play against these rules and/or our terms of use will be excluded from that thread and/or banned without further notice or warning.

Please check also, whether your question was asked and answered already in the past by someone else in the section "Help/Forum FAQ" :)

If it is not covered there, post your question in the subforum "Forum-help" and we will answer it in public asap so the answers help other members in the same situation too.

We really try to streamline everything, so you get help immediately with these FAQ. It is impossible to answer all emails, if the question is already answered in one of the above mentioned links.

Please understand, that this forum is not our main job. The moderators do all this voluntarely without any profit as a hobby beside their normal day job. We are not online 24 hours a day. We also have a family and other things to do - same as you ;)

Thank you
